The Sviatoshynsky District Court of Kyiv left Pavlo Abroskin and Serhiy Zinchenko in custody till January 10, 2016.

According to the Hromadske.TV media, the court granted the motion of the prosecutor’s office to extend the custodial term.

Former officers of the Ukraine’s “Berkut” riot police have been staying in Kyiv remand prison for 19 months already. The court continues hearing the testimony of the injured party in the case of killing 39 Euromaidan activists. As of now, 19 relatives of the killed persons gave testimony. The next court hearing is scheduled for December 8.

As a reminder, ex-riot police officers Pavlo Abroskin, Serhiy Zinchenko, and their commander Dmytro Sadovnyk were arrested by the court in March-April 2014 on suspicion of killing Euromaidan activists in the Instytutska Street in Kyiv on February 20. Sadovnyk escaped from house arrest last September and was put on wanted list.
