Ukraine is in talks with the OSCE on possible reopening of entry-exit checkpoints in Luhansk region.

Chairman of Luhansk Regional Military and Civil Administration Heorhiy Tuka posted this on Facebook.

According to him, the Administration representatives met with the OSCE yesterday and discussed the opportunity to reopen the entry-exit checkpoints.

Stanytsia Luhanska: OSCE will set two observation points on both sides. The Ukrainian side will resume the operation of the entry-exit checkpoint if there is no shelling during 48 hours,” Tuka wrote following the talks.

Zolote: at the request of terrorists, the OSCE will check whether there are mines in the territory and then the negotiations will continue,” he added.

As reported, the “Stanytsia Luhanska” entry-exit checkpoint was closed on April 8. Prior to that, the “Zolote” checkpoint was closed because of shelling.
