Russia is preparing provocations to the Commemoration day for Heroes of the Nebesnya Sotnya – SSU

Security Service of Ukraine has information that Russia is preparing for at least 3 events planned to the Commemoration day for Heroes of the Nebesnya Sotnya.

As reported by Oleksandr Tkachuk, the Chief of Staff of the Security Service of Ukraine, during the briefing on February 15.

According to the Security Service of Ukraine, 18 public events are scheduled at February 18 – 22 in Kyiv.

“We recorded certain signs of possible use of violent scenarios in the preparation of 8 events. Of these eight, 3 events are organized from the territory of the Russian Federation”, – said Tkachuk.

“Our history and memory of Heroes of the Nebesnya Sotnya is used for manipulation, to corrupt it and use for the destabilization”, – said the representative of the Security Service of Ukraine.

Tkachuk cited several examples.

“A citizen of Russia Serhiy Zhuk, 1981 year of birth. After analyzing the available information from public sources, we confirm the information who is this man and what he does”, – said Tkachuk.

According to him, Zhuk participated in the illegal armed group of Donetsk using the call-sign “Moskwa” (Moscow), and currently is in Russia.

“Profiles of imaginary people Mykola Hayduk and Stepan Mazura were created in social networks with the involvement of this Russian. Through social networks, using these profiles indoctrination of Ukrainian users is conducted”, – said Tkachuk.

According to the information of the Security Service of Ukraine, this Russian is trying to provoke riots in Kyiv.

Zhuk is involved in creation and administration of groups in social networks “Patriots of Ukraine”, “Ukrainian revolution”, “Continuing the Revolution of Dignity”, “Everyone to the Maidan”, which are spreading calls to civil unrest.

“In addition, currently content advertising, which is promoting these events, is actively financed from Russia”, – noted Tkachuk.

He also named Mykola Dulskyi, the Head of the “Nazhdak” (Emery) non-governmental organization, and website “Golos pravdy” (Voice of truth) as figurants of propaganda from the Russian Federation.
