Ukrainian citizens Oleg Sentsov and Oleksandr Kolchenko, who had been convicted of “terrorism” in Russia, were convoyed from Rostov remand prison to the places of serving punishment.

Filmmaker Oleg Sentsov, sentenced to 20 years in prison, is transferred to Irkutsk while activist Kolchenko is transferred to Chelyabinsk, BBC reports.

As reported, August 25 last year, the North-Caucasian Military Court of the Russian Federation sentenced Oleg Sentsov to 20 years in prison “for the organization of a terrorist group” and sentenced Oleksandr Kolchenko to 10 years for “participation in a terrorist group of Sentsov.”

According to the investigators, they set fire to the door of the offices of “Russian community” and “United Russia” in order to “destabilize the situation on the peninsula.”

They have not admitted guilt. Other defendants in this case are Oleksiy Chirnyi and Gennady Afanasyev, who were sentenced to seven years in prison.
