Judges from Crimea and pro-Russian militants want to be given life tenure

Speaker of Ukrainian Parliament Volodymyr Groysman urged to continue sending information about misconduct of the candidates via e-mail.

The Speaker posted on his Facebook page, “the proposed list contains not only such odious characters as infamous judge Kytsiuk but some judges from the occupied Crimea, who may be appointed to relevant positions in Russia.”

He added that the list also included the persons suspected of involvement in fighting in eastern Ukraine on side of the Russian-backed militants.

As a reminder, Volodymyr Groysman urged to review the list of 500 candidates for judges, and send possible evidence of their misconduct to the email address of the parliamentary committee for legal policy k_prav_pol@rada.gov.ua.

Earlier it was reported that the draft decree, filed by Groysman, provided for giving life tenure to Viktor Kytsiuk, judge of Pechersk district court in Kyiv suspected of persecuting the activists of Automaidan.
