The Russia’s Security Service officers “invited to talk” director of the Feodosia branch of the Ukrainian Cultural Center library Iryna Danylovych on January 2.

The secret service officers were interested in the activities of the Ukrainian Cultural Center in Crimea and the personalities of its members, activist of the Ukrainian Cultural Center in Simferopol Leonid Kuzmin said in commentary to Crimea.Realities portal.

In general, they asked about her acquaintances with members of the Ukrainian Cultural Centre, the aims of the Center, what literature we collect for the library, what plans for 2016 we have, what are the coming events. The questions also related to some members of the Center, namely, ‘what was their purpose of travel to Ukraine’,” Kuzmin said.

The activist assesses such actions of the secret services as “pressure on the dissidents.”

The Russian Security Service has once again made it clear that they follow everyone and know the actions of everyone,” the activist concluded.

There is no available information about the interrogation of Iryna Danylovych on the website of the Crimean department of the Russian Security Service.

The branch of the Ukrainian Cultural Center library in Crimea was opened in Feodosia in August 2015.
