In the occupied Crimea, another search was conducted in the house of Nadir Mambetshayev, a resident of Lenine village.

As reported by Crimean lawyer Edem Semedlyaev on his Facebook page.

“Today, at 7:30 am, a search was conducted in the house of Nadir Mambetshayev in Lenine settlement. Details will be later”, – wrote Semedlyaev.

The Kremlin-controlled power agencies of the annexed Crimea have not yet commented on the reasons for the search.

As a reminder, mass searches of the houses of independent journalists, social activists, activists of the Crimean Tatar national movement, members of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People and Crimean Muslims with suspected ties to the Hizb ut-Tahrir organization, which is banned in Russia, became more frequent in the Crimea after the Russian annexation.

In addition, Crimean Tatar activists were detained in the annexed Crimea on May 18, 2017, the Day of Remembrance for the Victims of Crimean Tatar Genocide.
