113 people are still held in captivity of the illegal armed groups in Donbas.

Vice Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Iryna Herashchenko said this at the press conference in Dnipro city, Radio Liberty reports.

Both servicemen and civilians are held. The militants try to link the issue of hostage release to the amnesty, demanding to pardon the leaders. They do not give information about the whereabouts of the hostages, do not allow representatives of humanitarian missions to visit them. Russia does not comply with the Minsk agreements provisions in this area,” Herashchenko said.

Earlier, the Vice Speaker said that Donbas militants did not reveal the whereabouts of Ukrainian hostages to conceal their real number.

According to the human rights activists, at least 31 Ukrainians are still held in Russian prisons after liberation of Nadiya Savchenko. According to them, these Ukrainians are prosecuted for political motives in Russia and the occupied Crimea.

The release of all illegally detained persons is a condition of the Minsk agreements.
