June 17, a judge of the Kyivsky District Court of Russian de facto authorities in Simferopol extended the custodial terms for Arsen Dzhepparov and Refat Alimov until September 8. They are accused of having links with the Hizb ut-Tahrir organization.

The monitors of the Crimean Human Rights Field Centre said this to reporters of the Centre for Investigative Journalism.

During the court hearing, Dzhepparov said that his arrest was revenge of the Russian Security Service for his refusal to cooperate with the investigation. He still does not admit his guilt.

At a hearing on the case of Refat Alimov, judge ordered to expel his mother from the courtroom “for emotional behavior.”

As a reminder, April 17, 2016, Russian security forces searched the houses and arrested two Crimean Tatars Dzhepparov and Alimov in the village of Krasnokamyanka (Velyka Yalta).

So-called “Crimean prosecutor” Natalia Poklonskaya said that both men were arrested for alleged involvement in the activity of Hizb ut-Tahrir organization.
