The High Council of Justice of Ukraine (HCJ) approved submission of recommendation to the President of Ukraine for dismissal of Oksana Tsarevych, the judge of the Pechersk District Court in Kyiv, who persecuted Euromaidan activists.

As lawyer Roman Maselko posted on his Facebook page, the HCJ recommends that Tsarevych should be dismissed for breaking the oath.

According to him, thirteen Council members voted for dismissal of Tsarevych, two members voted against.

The issue was being considered for five hours without a break. Tsarevych provided 500 pages of explanations and brought as a witness former prosecutor, who filed an application against her with the ad hoc commission. Unfortunately, the HCJ refused to listen to this interesting witness,” Maselko wrote.

As a reminder, Tsarevych delivered judgments to deprive of driving license at least four people, who went to Yanukovych’s residence in Mezhyhiria during the Euromaidan protests.
