Facebook discloses user data on Ukraine’s demand four times in six months

The representatives of Ukrainian authorities asked Facebook to disclose information about the specific user nine times in the second half of 2015. Four such requests were granted.

This is stated in the Facebook’s report on disclosure of information about social network users on demands of the governments of different countries.

The company unveils such data twice a year, Watcher reports.

According to the document, seven requests were filed in the first half of 2015 and only one was granted. Over the second half of 2014, only one request was filed and it was not granted.

The report covers the demands for information from Facebook, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp and Instagram, also owned by the corporation.
